The Oticon miniRITE hearing aid is a receiver-in-the-ear (RITE) hearing aid. It may have number of programs for you to adjust your listening preferences1

Your hearing aid can have up to four different programs. These are programmed by your hearing care professional.

Please note: when you have two hearing aids (depending on the model of your hearing aids), the right hearing aid switches forwards from Program 1 to Program 2, and the left hearing aid switches backwards from Program 4 to Program 3.2

Changing programs on your Oticon miniRITE hearing aids is simple. It just involves the following steps.

How to change programs on your Oticon miniRITE hearing aids

  1. To change programs on your Oticon miniRITE hearing aids, simply hold in the push button for 3 seconds.
  2. You will hear an activation sound to let you know that you have changed programs.

You can even change programs while you’re wearing your hearing aids. Just follow these steps while your hearing aid is still in your ear.

Your miniRITE hearing aid’s different programs will play different activation sounds. The number of programs on your Oticon miniRITE hearing aids depend on the programming set by your hearing care professional.

For example, Program 1 will sound one beep when activated, Program 2 will sound two beeps when activated, Program 3 will sound three beeps when activated and Program 4 will sound four beeps when activated.2
