Terms and Conditions

  1. Hearing Aid Loss and Damage Cover: Hearing Aid Loss and Damage covers a once-only replacement of each hearing aid which is lost or damaged for 12 months from the date of purchase. This offer applies only to Demant hearing aids (Oticon, Bernafon and Sonic brands). Excess of $600 per hearing aid applies. If you do not wish to pay the excess, you will forfeit your rights under the Hearing Aid Loss and Damage Cover. If the original hearing aid(s) purchased is no longer available, a hearing aid(s) of similar technology and style will be prescribed as a replacement. Only hearing aids are covered – accessories are not included in the cover. Cover is for 1 year (12 months) from the date of original purchase, but replacement aids(s) are not eligible for this cover. Audika reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to withdraw cover or reject a claim if fraud is suspected. You will be required to supply a Statutory Declaration Form to claim under Hearing Aid Loss and Damage Cover. Cover is not available if the loss or damage is covered by another policy (eg, home and contents insurance, travel insurance).

  2. 60 day change of mind return period: Hearing aids and all accessories must be returned to Audika in an undamaged condition within the 60 day change of mind return period. If the hearing aids are returned in a damaged condition, Audika may in its sole discretion retain payment of the hearing aid(s) and/or claim from you any outstanding balance on the cost of the hearing aid(s). The 60 day change of mind return period does not impact and is in addition to your statutory consumer law rights, and any product warranty offered with the hearing aid(s).

  3. 4 Year Hearing Aid Warranty: Applies to Demant hearing aids only (Oticon, Bernafon & Sonic brands, excludes accessories). Refer to the warranty information accompanying this hearing aid (provided at the fitting appointment when the hearing aid is supplied to you) for full details of the warranty and the warranty period/details of any accessories purchased in addition to your hearing aid.
    The rights given under the product warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates to. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

  4. Payment Plan: Applies to the purchase of one or more of our hearing aids. Monthly payment depends on product and repayment terms selected. Minimum 20% deposit is due at the time of fitting appointment. If you fail to make a payment under this agreed plan you will need to reimburse us for costs and expenses that we incur. Minimum purchase for 6 and 12 month plans is $1000, minimum purchase for 12 and 18 month plans is $2,000.
