To change the battery in your in the ear hearing aids, simply follow these 4 easy steps below.
Consult your clinician or the instructions for use for your device for specific information and instructions on changing the battery in your hearing aids, as this may differ between manufacturers. Always read the instructions for use. Follow the instructions for use.
Fully open the battery drawer and remove the battery.
Remove the sticky label from the + side of the new battery.
Insert the new battery into the battery drawer. Make sure the + side aligns in accordance with the instructions of your manufacture.
Close the battery drawer.
Please note a worn-out battery should be removed immediately and disposed of accordingly. Remember that batteries and hearing aids should be kept out of reach of children and pets. If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a hearing aid battery immediately call the 24-hour Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 for fast, expert advice.
